Well, yes, I had to do some reverse engineering to create the second sock for my pal. In the craziness of long hours at work, buying a new car and my cousin moving in, I lost my copy of Sensational Knitted Socks. I remembered the stitch pattern (baby cable rib), but could not remember any of the shaping. So, I had fun trying to figure out the rest of the pattern from the first sock I made. Here they are:
I lucked out to have a pal who also liked the color tangerine/orange. My new Honda Element is Tangerine Metallic. These are warm socks, a little big, but should be nice to wear around the house.
I really enjoyed knitting these socks. I hope my pal likes them too. They should be out in the mail tomorrow or Monday.

an fo, ufo and o, lol
I have actually been knitting lately, I am just bad about posting pictures :) So here we go.
My object:
This is the yarn I am going to use for my sock pal. She requested tangerine and since my favorite color is orange I could not pass up knitting with this yarn. I have a pattern in mind and will probably start next weekend.
My ufo:
I am working on the Dollar and a Half Cardigan from the Spring IK. I'm using Cascade 220 in a really deep green color, the picture does not do the color justice. This is about 8 inches for the back.
My FO:
My totally awesome Kenny bag. I used an instarsia chart and it ended up being huge so I just converted it into a bag. The inside is not lined yet but all the knitting is done.

Potter Knitting
I actually learned how to knit because of these scarves. My friends hinted that they wanted them. I thought it would be a cool gift. So thats how my knitting habit started.
